Sunday, May 17
10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Wildfire Road
at the intersection with County Hwy 27
The frogs are beginning to croak, turtles are basking in the swamps, and the bears are out of their dens, foraging what they can. Spring has made it to the lake country. Come join the Lake Country chapter of the MN Wildlife Tracking Project for our second monthly tracking club. Once again we will be doing a foray down another of the sand roads in the Mississippi Headwaters State Forest to see who is out moving on the landscape this month.
We will meet at the road head at 10 AM, then either walk down the road from there, or possibly carpool down a bit from the highway before we begin our track survey.
