Post date: Apr 04, 2016 8:57:5 PM

Come join us for a Bird Language Workshop in the North MetroSaturday, April 30

9:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Wargo Nature Center

7701 Main St.

Lino Lakes, MN 55038

Nature is a dangerous place if you're a bird!

Predators like Cooper’s hawks and owls are always around. In this workshop we will begin to decipher bird alarm calls and behaviors, and tune in to what they can tell us about the other animals on the landscape. We will be spending time sitting outdoors, so please come dressed for the weather. Bring a camp chair or something to sit on, as well as a bag lunch. No birding experience necessary.

Pre-registration is required

The cost is $5/person (+ tax)
