April Trailing Practice at Reservoir Woods

In April, we'll be returning to Reservoir Woods to follow our local deer through the 115 acres of hardwood, pines, wetlands, prairie and savanna. The matted leaves of early spring offer some of the best trailing conditions of the year. Come join us as we practice following the trails of deer or each other.

This is an all-weather event and we spend time off trail. Please bring appropriate gear, and dress for several hours outdoors in whatever weather we may have that day.

We will meet at 9:00 in the parking lot. We will share a practice invitation, divide into small groups, and head out to follow trails shortly after 9:00. Groups will return to the parking lot by 11:30 am to share the stories of their trails, and map the animals moving on the land.
