April Tracking Club:  Mock Eval

Come join us for a Mock Track & Sign mini-evaluation at Mississippi Gateway Regional Park

Sunday, April 21

9:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Mississippi Gateway Regional Park Visitor Center

10360 W River Rd, Brooklyn Park, MN 55444

On Memorial Day weekend, the Minnesota Wildlife Tracking Project is hosting two Track & Sign evaluations with Daniel Hansche. The evals are full, but you can still get a taste of the eval experience. This mini Mock Evaluation will feature roughly 20 questions presented in the CyberTracker eval style. In the spirit of a CyberTracker evaluation, we will ask people to work independently, without rulers or field guides. We will debrief all of the questions together. Bring a notebook and pencil to record answers--and feel free to bring guidebooks and rulers to use during our debriefs.

We will gather at 9:00 in the parking lot near the Visitor Center. We will head out on the trail after a short introduction, and return to the Visitor Center before wrapping up at 1 PM. If you need to reach us the day of the outing, please call Jon's cell at 612-388-4700.
