Come join us as we practice trailing in Reservoir Woods, a 115 acre urban park of hardwood, pines, wetlands, prairie and savanna. During this practice session, we will follow scuff trails freshly made by a friend. This practice will train participants to notice disturbances, maintain momentum on the trail, and practice following the most obvious route -- all of which can be directly applied to trailing deer and other wild animals.

This is an all-weather event and we spend time off trail. Please bring appropriate gear, and dress for several hours outdoors in whatever weather we may have that day.

We will meet at 9:00 in the parking lot. We will share the practice invitation, divide into small groups if necessary, and head out to practice shortly after 9:00. Groups will return to the parking lot by 11:50 am to share the stories of their trails.
