August 17 Tracking Excursion: Otter Romp

Marty Miller and Jonathan Poppele invite you to join us for our next Tracking Excursion at the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge:Sunday, August 179:00am - 12:00pmWe will gather at the Refuge visitor center:Minnesota Valley Wildlife Refuge3815 American Blvd EBloomington, MN 55425The waters of the Minnesota River have receded leaving lots of sign. Last month, we tracked otters across Long Meadow Lake Trail. We look forward to what this month's excursion brings! Come join us as we explore the floodplain in Bloomington. Note: Fort Snelling State Park, or usual location for tracking, is currently closed due to flooding.You are invited to bring a bag lunch and beverage as we will have an opportunity to regroup before sharing our stories and insights from the morning's sessions. This is an all-weather event. Be prepared for several hours outdoors.We will gather at 9:00 outside the Visitor Center. We will head out on the trail by about 9:20.
