Sunday, June 22
9:00am - 12:00pm
We will gather at the Refuge visitor center:
Minnesota Valley Wildlife Refuge
3815 American Blvd E
Bloomington, MN 55425
The waters of the Minnesota River are slowly receding and the creatures are leaving signs of changing rhythms and patterns. Come join us as we explore the floodplain in Bloomington.
Note: Fort Snelling State Park, or usual location for tracking, is currently closed due to flooding.
You are invited to bring a bag lunch and beverage as we will have an opportunity to regroup before sharing our stories and insights from the morning's sessions. This is an all-weather event. Be prepared for several hours outdoors.
We will gather at 9:00 outside the Visitor Center. We will head out on the trail by about 9:20. If need to reach us the day of the outing, please call Jon's cell phone at 612-388-4700.
RSVPs are encouraged, but not required.
