April Tracking Club: Sings of Spring--Close to Home

We have passed the Spring Equinox. Migratory songbirds are returning from the Neotropics. Frogs are singing in vernal pools. Barred owl chicks are begging in their nests. And it looks like the last snowstorm of the season may be behind us. It's time to get out and explore this changing of the season.

Over the coming days, we invite you to join us for a "Socially Distanced" Tracking Club. For a typical tracking club, we bring the group to one of our favorite places. This month, we get to bring our favorite places to the group. Here's the plan:
  • Over the next few days, get out to a natural area near your home for some "dirt time." Look for tracks, sign, migrating birds, early spring ephemerals, or whatever your heart desires.
  • Gather around the digital campfire on Sunday afternoon for Stories of the Day.
    • Zoom video conference, "Story of the Day: Signs of Spring--Close to Home"
    • Sunday, April 19, 4:00pm
    • Register in advance with this link
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
